General terms
This is an English translation provided for convenience. In case of any discrepancy, the Slovenian version prevails.

By using the website you agree to these terms of use, which we reserve the right to change. MCL reserves the right to change any part of the website and to delete any part of its content without prior notice.
The website presents the clinics and practices operating at Vilharjev podhod 1 in Ljubljana. Healthcare services are provided by the individual clinics or providers, each in its own name and under its own terms.
Limitation of liability
All published information is for general information only. It does not replace a medical examination, opinion or instructions. In an emergency, call 112. MCL strives to keep the website up to date and its information complete, but accepts no liability for its completeness or accuracy.
You use the MCL website at your own risk. Neither MCL nor any other natural or legal person that took part in creating, producing and building the website, or that takes part in its upgrades and new information and materials, is liable for any damage arising from access to, use of, or inability to use the information and materials on the website, or for any errors or omissions in its content. MCL is also not liable for any damage (including damage caused by viruses) to computer equipment or any other application used to access the website, resulting from visiting or using it in any way. Restrictions on the use of information and materials
You may download the information and materials shown on this website for your own use, provided you do not alter copyright notices, other intellectual property notices or other notices of rights. Downloading and printing information and materials for viewing and reading for non-commercial purposes is permitted. Any other copying, distribution, republication or modification of the information and materials on the website, or sending them by post or disseminating them in any other way without prior written permission, is prohibited. MCL is not responsible for the form or content of websites linked in any way to this website. MCL accepts no liability whatsoever in connection with visiting and using linked websites.
Booking is handled by the clinics
Booking buttons and links take you to the website or booking system of the chosen clinic or provider. Any data you enter there is processed by that provider as an independent controller, under its own terms and privacy policy. This website collects no data in the booking process.
Privacy
Your privacy is our priority. The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to help you (the individuals whose data we process) understand which of your personal data we collect, why we collect it and how we use it. This matters, so we invite you to take the time to read it.
MCL collects data about your use of the website www.mcljubljana.si, relating both to the manner and to the purpose of use. This data matters to us because it allows us to ensure the expected, high-quality operation of the website www.mcljubljana.si, to comply with our legal obligations, and to keep improving the services we offer you.
We collect only the data described below. The website requires no registration and has no forms for entering your name, e-mail or other contact details.
Search queries
When you type a symptom, a problem or the name of a service into the site search, we store the text of the query as you typed it, whether the search returned results, and the time of the search. We do not store your IP address, name, e-mail or anything else that would link the query to you. The records are visible only to authorised website editors. We use them only to see what visitors cannot find and to improve the content. For this reason, please do not type your name, contact details or other personal data into the search box.
Search queries are deleted automatically after twelve months. They may remain in backups for up to 14 more days, after which they are deleted there too.
AI-assisted search
To better understand a description of a health problem, the search may use an external service, TypeSafe (the Jev model), which assesses whether the description suggests an emergency and which clinic is appropriate. Before the text leaves our server, we automatically remove e-mail addresses, longer numbers (such as a phone number or personal ID number) and common personal names; the filter does not recognise every name. We do not send your IP address, cookies or any other data that would link the query to you. Queries in which we recognise an emergency ourselves are not sent anywhere. The search result is guidance only, not a medical assessment.
Technical data
To protect the search from abuse, the server uses your IP address in working memory to limit the number of searches from the same address. The IP address is not written to the database and is not linked to the content of the search.
ZZ Zdravje does not collect your geographic location – neither from your IP address nor from GPS data on your device.
Cookies
The website www.mcljubljana.si uses cookies. Cookies are small text files stored on your computer when you visit our website; they do not harm your hardware or software. You can delete cookies at any time or set your browser not to allow them.
In the European Union, the use of cookies is governed by the Directive on privacy and electronic communications 2002/58/EC, whose provision on cookies and similar technologies was amended by Directive 2009/136/EC.
In Slovenian law, the use of cookies is governed by the Electronic Communications Act, ZEKom-2 (Official Gazette of the RS, No. 130/22).
Cookies store unique information about the user, or the settings the user has chosen on a given website, on the user's device.
The website sets no cookies for usage analysis, advertising or tracking on visitors' devices. A session cookie is set only for editors logged in to the website's back office, because they need it to log in.
You can always choose to accept or refuse cookies. Most browsers accept cookies automatically; you can change this in the settings so that your computer refuses cookies or warns you before a cookie is stored. For cookie settings, see your browser's help (Firefox, Chrome, Edge, Opera, Safari).
Map and video
The website does not use Google Analytics. The Where to find us and About us pages and some service pages embed Google Maps, Street View and YouTube videos. They do not load automatically: until you click, only a link or an image is shown in their place, and your browser does not connect to Google's servers. When you click to show the map or play the video, the content loads directly from Google's servers (Google Maps, or YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode). Google then receives your IP address and may set its own cookies. Your choice applies only to that view; we do not store it.

Data protection
The website and its database are hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH on a server in the European Union. Hetzner acts as a processor: it hosts the server but does not use the content for its own purposes.
The MCL website will protect the personal data it controls against unauthorised disclosure and transfer to third parties, in accordance with the applicable data protection legislation and its internal rules adopted under the law.
Your rights and the controller
The controller of the website www.mcljubljana.si is the healthcare institution ZZ Zdravje (Zdravstveni zavod ZZ Zdravje), Vilharjev podhod 1, 1000 Ljubljana.
For personal data we may process (for example, if you write to us or call us), you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. Write to info@zzzdravje.si or call 01 436 82 17.
Search queries cannot be linked to an individual, so we cannot provide access to them or delete them on request: we do not hold any data by which we could find them.
If you believe we are not handling your data properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner of the Republic of Slovenia, Dunajska cesta 22, 1000 Ljubljana (www.ip-rs.si).
