Polje harmonije
Polje harmonije is a health centre with clinics in Ljubljana and Novo mesto. At Medicinski center Ljubljana it covers occupational, traffic and sports medicine and offers executive preventive check-ups. The examination is paid by your employer or by you, and booking is done directly with Polje harmonije.
Polje harmonije at the centre
Polje harmonije has clinics in Novo mesto and Ljubljana. The Ljubljana clinic is at Medicinski center Ljubljana, Vilharjev podhod 19. The centre has been operating for fifteen years and holds ISO 9001 quality certification.
In Ljubljana, Polje harmonije covers occupational, traffic and sports medicine, which ZZ Zdravje and ZAP Fitcorp also run at the centre, and executive preventive check-ups. Family medicine and the BTL Emsella and Emsculpt treatments are offered in Novo mesto.
Occupational, traffic and sports medicine
Polje harmonije runs the preventive programmes required by the Occupational Health and Safety Act: pre-employment examinations, periodic and other targeted examinations of employees, and health risk assessments. It also completes the DD-1 form for ZPIZ.
It examines drivers of all categories for obtaining and renewing a driving licence, and carries out preventive examinations of athletes, examinations for owning and carrying firearms, and examinations of firefighters.
Depending on the job, the examination includes a clinical examination by the specialist and, for example, hearing and vision tests, an ECG, spirometry, laboratory tests and a balance test for work at height. For companies it also prepares workplace analyses, annual reports on examinations, talks on workplace health promotion and first-aid workshops.
Before the examination, ask your family doctor to send your medical record to the Ljubljana clinic so the doctor has your medical history at hand.
Executive preventive check-ups
An executive check-up is a specialist preventive examination that reviews your overall health, looks for the most common diseases and advises on lifestyle changes. It is meant for everyone, especially people under heavy work pressure and stress.
The standard check-up includes, among other things, an examination by an occupational, traffic and sports medicine specialist, body measurements, hearing and vision tests, extended blood tests including thyroid hormones, an ultrasound of the abdomen and pelvis, an ultrasound of the neck and a preventive cardiology examination. An extended version with more in-depth tests is also available. A doctor goes through the results with you.
